SnowBall is designed around selected sync, not indiscriminate account scraping. The goal is to turn chosen conversations into project knowledge while keeping the scope of capture explicit.

Transport and pairing protections

Communication between the extension and the SnowBall API is encrypted in transit. Pairing codes are short-lived and single-use, which reduces the chance of device pairing lingering longer than intended.

Project-based isolation and operational safeguards

SnowBall organizes knowledge by project and uses backend safeguards such as state validation, idempotency-aware flows, and metadata-conscious admin surfaces to reduce the risk of corruption or casual overexposure.
